Delina's Garden is a secret wonderland I discovered on Papa's property over 25 years ago as a child. To this day I've never told anyone. I'm positive no one would believe this truly happened.
It was the middle of summer and I was just 9 years old. Sitting upstairs in my bedroom, I saw the strangest dragonfly hovering right outside my window. Only it didn't look like a dragonfly the closer I got to it, I still don't know what to call it, I mean her. I still don't know what to call her. I could have sworn she had the face of a girl. As I stepped closer to the window, she tilted her head and winked. Curiosity got the best of me, so I ran downstairs and out the front door to see her in person. Had it not been for my young age, it would have been fear. The strange, yet beautiful looking dragonfly flew at a speed that allowed me to keep up. Before I knew it, I had walked down a part of the property no one had yet to explore or discover. Papa owned over 120 acres of land, and it was the most beautiful peace of property in Dune's county.
